Top Ops # 2

This weekend I stumbled upon Seconhand and Antiquarian Bookdealer Penny Bannister in Fremantle.
It was only with exterme restraint from my side that I managed to buy only one book. And what a book it turned out to be. I picked Life and Times of Michael K by South African born writer J.M Coetzee and only when I walked up to the counter to pay, did I realize that it was a copy signed by the author himself. What a delightful surprize. This $8.00 buy ticks all my boxes for a top op.  I can't wait to start reading it!

Top Ops # 1

I've decided to start sharing some of the quirky, lovely, cute, snazzy random things that I find in the sometimes dusty shelves and racks of my favorite opshops around Perth. As you would have guessed already, I call them my Top Ops, and here is first one.
This weekend I headed off to Good Sammy's in Subi and found this little undie laundry bag lost between a whole lot of ancient curtains. I think it's absolutely delightful!

I think it's almost too pretty to wash!
